Halloween is coming, and we love it! It is a perfect occasion for the grown-ups to have fun with the little ones in the house! Skeleton costumes, games, spider webs decorating the wall. What if we also prepare some terrifyingly good sweets?

In Guiainfantil.com We suggest you bake some mummy cupcakes to make your Halloween party a total success. The preparation of the recipe is simple, and the result is extraordinary! Shall we start?

  • 60 gr unsalted butter
  • 110 grams of sugar and 100 grams of flour
  • 2 eggs / 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 60 ml of skimmed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Green color paste
  • For the cream:
  • 100 gr unsalted butter
  • 135 g of icing sugar / Caramel eyes
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Green color paste
  • A small package of white fondant

1. We measure and prepare all the ingredients that we are going to use. We introduce the paper capsules in the cupcake tray and preheat the oven to 180º. In a bowl, beat the butter (which should be soft) together with the sugar until they are integrated.

2. Add the eggs one by one without stopping beating. Sift the flour and yeast on top of the mixture, and continue beating. We add the milk and the vanilla extract. We mix.

3. Finally, we dye the dough green with half a teaspoon of the dye paste, and distribute it into the capsules, filling them 3⁄4 each. We bake 20 minutes.

4. We let the Cupcakes cool off their tray while we prepare the cream. Place the butter (which must be soft), the sifted icing sugar and the vanilla extract in a container. We beat 5 minutes at medium speed. Add half a tablespoon of green paste coloring and mix until completely dyed. Fill the pastry bag with the cream and reserve. We make a hole in the center of each Cupcake with the help of the apple corer.

5. Fill and cover each Cupcake with cream.

6. We roll our eyes.

7. We knead the fondant and divide it into 4 balls. We stretch them with a roller and cut strips. We place the fondant strips on top of the Cupcakes, without covering the eyes, and cut out what is sticking out with scissors. Enjoy them!
