Have you ever wondered ... why two children with the same IQ and in the same class, learn differently? Why don't we learn equally? Perhaps because learning depends on many more factors than simply having a certain amount of gray matter. So ... what does it depend on?

Learning is a complex process that includes going through 7 different phases. These are the following:

1. Motivation. There are those who firmly affirm that a motivated child is a child who learns. Encouraging curiosity is a fundamental pillar, without a doubt, in learning, both in children and adults.

2. Attention. Many children have attention problems. They are children who are easily confused or simply bored because something does not interest them.

3. Manufacturing knowledge. The child decides that something interests him and he really wants to learn it. Accept the challenge!

4. Organization of what has been learned. The brain is like a library where books must have a place. This way, it will be easier to find them. There are children who have an easier time organizing their new thoughts and knowledge. Others, however, find it more difficult. Outlines can be an excellent activity to work on this point.

5. Extrapolation. Is this worth learning? Yes!

6. Memorization. Memorization can be worked on from a young age. There are games and activities designed for this. Rhyming poetry and songs can be a good resource.

7. Evaluation. It is the 'summary' that a child makes of what he has learned. At that point you understand the usefulness of what you have just learned.

Every kid is a world. Each of us goes through each of these phases differently. Many times, our personality has a lot to do with it. More positive, highly motivated children may have attention problems ... Others may find it difficult to organize their thoughts ... In fact, experts rthey recognize four types of children according to their learning:

- Assets: They are creative children, with initiative, with a lot of motivation and who learn without much effort.

- Reflective: Quiet children who spend a lot of time thinking. They love to read and question everything.

- Theoretical: They love to look for different possibilities to everything, and to contrast different opinions. They are very disciplined.

- Pragmatists: Practical and direct children. Is this that I learn useful for something? So that?
