There can be only one godfather!

Choosing godparents is a challenge for many parents, and often a real problem. It's no wonder that forum threads often focus on whether the godparents can be of the same sex. And although it depends to a large extent on the decision of the priest giving the sacrament, there is nothing to be deluded that such consent will be given. Most likely the priest will notice that a better solution if you have difficulty choosing will definitely be one person.

Although the recipe is not new, many people do not know about it. When choosing godparents, we can only choose one person: a woman or a man. Kan. 873 of the CCP clearly states: "You must choose only one godfather or godfather, or two godparents."

What other conditions must godfather meet?
