Your child's temperament. Upbringing in harmony with nature

Every child is different. We repeat this to an illusion, we hear it at every turn, we explain in this simple sentence the lack of legitimacy of using the so-called "golden advice". Just as there is no model way of education, there are no methods that always work. Kind of obvious, but we often forget about it. Also, when the second / third or subsequent child arrives at home and suddenly begins to show that the methods that resulted with one toddler are completely ineffective for the other. Our knowledge decreases and confidence disappears. You need to develop new techniques and discover new secrets in dealing with a child. This guide may be helpful in this. At the beginning I would like to reserve that from this guide we will not learn in detail, completely and comprehensively how to raise a child. It's hard to expect from any books at all. The thing is that the authors focus more on just pointing to differences between children's temperaments than how this fact affects further upbringing guidelines. Although of course there is a lot of information in the form of tips for parents, for people who expect them to fill in at least half of this guide, I have bad news: this is not the case.

I definitely recommend the book to those who they like to solve all personality tests, quizzes and read with great interest the results, which after their resolution are available in women's magazines. With the difference that in the case of this book, to work out the temperament of your child, your own and close family members, to achieve the desired effect, you should approach calmly, in concentration, devoting enough time to it. It is not easy enough to assess what temperament is typical for a person that we check in this way during a conversation with another person or during morning coffee.

You need to take a pen or pencil in your hand, think a little, remind yourself of some situations from the past. There is also a lot to read: not only "substantive content", but also quite extensive instructions, which in my opinion could be shortened on what the whole book would gain.

We have a choice of several features and finally 16 types of temperaments. Some of them are necessarily similar, so sometimes you need to read a few to choose the right one. Still, the description itself makes the amazing fact that "there is something to it."

At the end I can only add from my own backyard that ... at the moment the evaluation of our two-year-old's temperament falls quite surprisingly. Convinced that our child is a pure dad ... I was in a way led out of error. Although the daughter has a key feature in her personality after her dad, she remains three ... after her mother. However, to confirm this fact, we will wait another year or two, then personality traits will certainly be even better visible :)
